Hive is social media. Kind of. I feel there should be a block button. On steemit in 2019, A user harassed me because I did not know what witnesses are

I am neurodivergent and have learning difficulties

when Weku (steemit clone before Steemit/Hive added the communites) I posted a video about a post getting 100 credits a guy asked me about witnesses. how many did Weku have I didn't know what Ws are nor if the platform had any

then he asked about my wallets and stuff so of course I got confused

then he called me the R slur. when I held him accountable, he basically admits he bullies disabled/neurodiverse people. if they "deserve it" I made a video when it happened, I lost it. Then called me entitled for NOT wanting to be bullied for not knowing something when he can just.. idk link a fucking video/blog post about what he was talking about

I wold have avoided all of this if there was a block button

MUTING DOES NOT WORK. It doesn't work if the person can still see your content

maybe improve the mute button so when you mute someone, the other person gets a loading error or something

even if bullying isn't a problem, blocking spam comments, bot comments commeting phishing links etc it can be a plan B if your HP isn't strong enough to hide their comments with a down vote
