Steemit has a dust threshold to where earnings on a post have to be at least 3 cents to get a pay out. Anything under that will vanish on the post payout day. I think this just makes it harder for new users. Steemit takes the only thing they can earn. There is dust sweeper but you have to send them at least 1 SBD/Steem. A new user who just made their account won't have any Steem/SBD.
Should Steemit get rid of the dust thing? They have the resource credits thing now so people can't really spam a bunch of posts say they didn't have the dust thing.
