if I paid $300 to get a post to #1 on trending and this post revealed some distasteful actions about a whale that are all available on the blockchain, simply highlights them, do you all think it would stay? or would steemit whales pay or use $300 worth of flags just to flag a post? Can most whales even do that?
the post would do nothing but show what a certain whale on Steemit did, sending out threats, forcing another user to revoke comments AND a post, under threat of being flagged, after they had flagged unrelated posts, just to send a message, after this user simply questioned a certain controversial steem project.
Do many whales even have the power to flag more than $50 to $100 ? Is it even possible to pay to flag posts? Would most bid bots even accept payment to flag a post if it were very factual, and simply went over what happened in a very robotic non emotional way?
This really bothers me now that I think about it because we are all working towards the enrichment of these people, and why should I be working so hard to empower people who will use this system to silence me after I have worked harder than this whale has ever worked for steem, and I am 100% sure that even with their larger stake I have still probably done more to help the price, and their actions have caused so many to leave that their stake has the opposite effect.
