Greetings friends!

Recently, it happened in India that when the fake survey of winning of the existing ruling party in the election spread, stock market went up suddenly. But, when the ruling party didn't get the majority in actual, the market plunged to almost 8.5 percent.

So, Does the stock market solely depends on the political parties or should there be other factors involved which drive the market?
