What makes us what we are?

DNA is the most amazing and the most complex molecule in this whole universe. It is the blueprint of every living cell. It decides whether a cell will turn into an animal or tree or a human. It contains the complete program related to construction our body, its structure and many other things. However, can it also decide what would be our thinking in future? I think we have no certain answers till date. We don't know whether it is our DNA which makes us what we are or are there other things, environment and circumstances etc. which combination affects our life and our thinking. Are we just a reflection of our DNA or are we something the product of environment etc.? What do you think?
