The idea of this challenge and contest is that you power up some sp each first of the month. I do it when I can. Sometimes I am traveling at that time and do not do wallet transactions on strange wifi connections.

Aside from the benefit of growing your sp you can win prizes over there too. One thing you have to do to be in line for the prizes is to have a post on your blog before the event, so be sure and do one if you are in.

I have had very disappointing results on this blog since the fork came in and NewSTEEM arrived. I do have better curation rewards, but that does not make up for very poor post rewards.

I have also not posted as much as I was doing and still power down to live. But I am not discouraged and am trying to do better now.

I have been saving STEEM in my STEEM savings and hoped it would be over 20 STEEM by now. But it is 12 STEEM and I hope to improve that by October 1 as well.
