Battle of the Privacy Coins

Asked by diamonds4ever Promote - View in Hive.blog - Audit

Privacy and security are the hot words today, especially for us blockchain and crypto enthusiasts. While using cryptocurrency for transactions often takes place in a decentralized environment -- and while it can be hard to pinpoint an individual to a ridiculously long wallet address -- transactions made w/ many mainstream cryptocurrencies and tokens will sit on a public ledger for all to see.

To walk the truly decentralized walk, some communities have built crypto like Monero and Zcash that give users both a "transparent" and "shielded" address; while others, Dash for instance, build a 2nd blockchain layer to allow for enhanced privacy-focused options like their "PrivateSend" feature.

So, which one do you prefer?
