The recommended amount of Vitamin C in your diet varies:
This is what the US FDA says, and many health sites think it should be higher.
Why do you need Vitamin C in your diet?
It is a water soluble vitamin. This means you need to replace it daily.
Vitamin C is known to prevent and fight cancer, heart disease and eye troubles, as well as keeping the common cold at bay.
Vitamin C intake is usually one of the first things I work to help people increase when doing weight loss coaching. It is one of the easiest improvements you can make in your diet.
World's Healthiest Foods Rich in Vitamin C

The chart above is from a site I like and use a lot. The World's Healthiest Foods has no advertising and does a good job in explaining food issues.
There are so many foods that are good for vitamin C, that I am only showing you the top of the list. If you start consuming some of these foods each day, you will also get more fiber, which is the subject of one of my recent polls.
How about you? Are you getting enough Vitamin C in your diet? Do you already eat these foods? If not, do you think you can start with any of them? I want to hear from you.
