Would Things Have Been Better?

image I bumped into 3 friends yesterday on my way to the bookshop. Unfortunately they were all orphans and they were I to runs. They looked so beautiful and one approached me a and asked me where the boys hostel in my school is, and I told her. She called the person she was supposed to go see but his number was switched off a and it was raining so I invited her and her friends over to my house to stay till they get through to their friend.

They accepted my offer and gradually we got talking and I asked what brought them to my school. They said they came for runs like it was so easy for them to admit. I was curious and I asked "You girls are so beautiful so why choose this kind of life". To cut the whole story short, they said they were all orphans and runs was the only means possible for their livelihood.

It got me wondering, most girls have parents but still do runs so it beings me to my question if their parents were alive, would things have been better?
