I generally avoid Apple products as I simply don't like using macOS and iOS. Many may write this off as a windows usage bias but this really isn't the case. Back in the late '80s and '90s on my desk at work was a Mac (as well as 'terminals' linked to Mainframes running UNIX and COBOL and the first 'PC' (when PC really meant it was an IBM PC clone and not Personal Computer) I used ran DOS and later OS/2 and so Windows came relatively late in my computer life.
In recent years, I used an 2009 MacBook Pro as a Windows platform due it to being a rock solid lump of unbreakable aluminium and, apart from the weight, a perfect travel companion. It was finally retired a couple of years ago.
On the phone front, my first smartphones were Sony; firstly the P800 and P910 which ran Symbian before finally getting to Android not long after its release and there I've stayed ever since!
It's true. I've never owned an Apple phone nor an IPod or iPad but as I approach new phone time, I will again take another long hard look at iphones. This time though, instead of just point blank refusing to buy one on price objections, I will try to take a more pragmatic approach to my choice!
Another reason is that coins.co.th who are a brilliant crypto-fiat portal in Thailand and The Philippines only have a iOS App here in Thailand with no plans for an Android version. Their site works well on mobile, but still; I do like my Apps!
The question is, as crypto users, what do you prefer? I'd imagine your choice is App led and so along with your choice, I'd be grateful if you'd also recommend your favourite Apps for either/both platforms so I can take a look before I simply go out and buy a new Mi Droid.
