Do you wear a hearing aid? There are numerous reasons why you would need one, such as being hard of hearing, or wearing one to mask interfering internal noise such as tinnitus ?

I have had one for the past few years, I was born with bad hearing in my right ear, it's all damaged in there. Then since my mid 20s I started to get this phantom noise in my ear, which is this high pitch sound which is always there (known as tinnitus), it got to to point where it was very distracting so I went and got it checked out. That's when I got a hearing aid, not only did it help with my hearing, it helps distract the tinnitus throughout the day. I wear a Behind-the-Ear (BTE) type, one of the newer smaller ones, most people don't even realise I have one.
