So guys it's another night of the champions league Football.And I must it is going to be a thriller of night considering some of the heavyweights of the modern day game are in action tonight.It is going to be an action packed night awaiting us.And for some of the crazy manics of the game like me it going to hard choosing between both the matches which one to watch ,considering two my most favourite clubs are in action at the same time.

So in the first match Barcelona take on LYON in their home stadium of Groupama in France. The match will be telecasted live in all over the world at 19:00 GMT and 01:30 IST.The match will be officiated by currently one of the best , experienced referee in the world and my personal favourite Cuneyt Cakir.

Lyon comes into this match after a not so convincing victory over bottom placed side Guingamp. In the previous match also they had lost to OGC NICE 1-0. Although all is not gloomy for them as just two weeks back they had given the toble topper PSG a drubbing at this very satdium.LYON had qualifed into the knockout phase after qualifying as the second placed team in Group F behind Man City. Lyon without their talismanic attacking midfieder Nabil Fekir as he is out suspended.They will also be missing Amine Gouiri and Ousseynou Ndiaya.due to injury.

Barcelona also come into this match after a bunch of not so great results.The team this has not been able to kick into the top gear at all.They are looking far from convincing and a pale shadow of the team that people all over the worls fell in love with.In their last 4 matches they have been able to just win one and that very unconvincingly.Barcelone except in a few matches have failed to perform collectively.Their succes this season has been more down individual brillance of either Messi,Ter stegan, Dembele and to some extent even Pique.Their midfield totally lacks in creativity which puts extra pressure on Messi to create as well as score goals. Barca were table toppers of group which has 2 other very strong teams in Totenham and Inter Milan. Barca will be without the services of Arthur and Cillessen.Dembele has recovered well and should be part of the starting lineup.Semedo should be taking back his duites as right back from Roberto.Upfront also Suarez will start in place of Boateng.Umtiti has a slight chance of getting back in the starting 11 but I doubt that.

The match looks tightly poised to be a thriller.Both teams have never met each other before in UEFA competations.Considering the recent slump in form of barca and lyon plaing it at home I predict it to be a tactical slugfest.
