After a long time the champions league nights are back on us.Know the knockout phase of the tournment has started today with 2 matches.

1.AS Roma V/S FC PORTO The match will played out at stadio Olimpico , Rome. After the giant killing spree of last season Roma are back once again seeking for more blood. Although this season has not gone as per plan for Roma.They lost a couple of key players in transfer window. Barca took Malcom almost from their jaws who was supposed to be their reinforcement.They are 6th currently in the league table behind Atalanta and 25 points away from the top. They will be missing Cengiz Under, Diego Perotti and Patrik Schick meaning all their attacking threat has to come fom El sharaway and Edin Dzeko

Now as for FC Porto they were handed in an easy route into the knockout stage of this tournament. Being an away match Porto wont take it lightly despite roma's recent struggles.Porto currently top the Portugees Primeira Liga sitting at 51 points closely followed by Benfica at 50.Iker Casillas's experience will crucial for Porto if they have to get anything out ofthis tie. For Porto Vincent Aboubakar, Moussa Marega and Marius Mouandilmadji will not available for selection due injury. The goal scoring department will be handled by Yacine Brahmi and Tiquinho.

Although Porto looks formidable on paper for me Roma Should be able to rap this contest considering it is their home match.
