Do you think Twitter giveaways are genuine?

I see that there are so many tweets about giveaways on twitter and everyone seem to giving away some $ just for following, retweet and comments. It sounds like easy money but I feel like its all scam and we should not respond to all. Some of them are genuine but most of all are not. What you guys are thinking, I want to know.
