Would you consider Bitcoin a currency?

Currencies as we know it have a few properties:

  • relative stability (low volatility)
  • widely accepted as a means of exchange
  • store of value

At the moment Bitcoin is not accepted for everyday uses, the handling is laborious and the volatility is extreme.
