I join contests daily.
As I decided to give Steem a second chance I joined the freewriters. It is @mariannewest who hosts the daily 5-minute freewrite and gave me a warm welcome and many tips. The freewritersdid me good (@freewritehouse is a part of it and hosts all kinds of writing contests).
Next, I joined CCC, the community Curation Circle Creed.
At that time they hosted four contests by now there are six. This means they are good for nearly one contest a day.
There are other contests I try to join like the ones hosted by @qurator and @bananafish, the #31sentencecontest and #hasil2020.
It is a good way to improve me, engage with others and to be noticed. Nearly every article I publish by now joins is a challenge.
I never check if a prize is paid. I trust the host or donor if it comes to that although I know it does not always happen.
I guess as long as I grow here on Steem (it is one of the targets I set for 2020, see #hasil2020) I am satisfied.
Do you join contests and if so how many a week?
Does it benefits you and do you check if a prize is paid!
