You give children a hand making homework?

I am late today.

We needed to fill out papers and I was parked at the library for several hours so my kid couls join some homeschooling. Watch a video about a new way of maths and watching something about technics.

Once home we had out late breakfast and I helped out the youngest. A schooltrip for 2 days needs to be planned (we have no idea what this has to do with maths but the class should have one perhaps after corona). We planned a flight with WizzAir for less as 10 euro a person, a staying overnight at a luxury farm including free wifi, with a lake and beach, pancake restaurant on walking distance and next day horse riding shopping, shopping at the airport and dinner/shopping at a mall nearby the airport. It took us hours to figure out distances, transport prices, etc but at least it's better as what they do year after year and no kid likes.

There's more homework to do like making the next powerpoint, drawings etc. I am not eager to help because I am tired of helping out, teaching my children year after year. It is very disappointing what they learn at school. The fact is the homework increased during the lockdown and the teachers do not teach and there are way too much hours in it.
