One of my children lives with the computer.
From the age of two, it showed an interest in computers. It started to draw with the mouse (still does) and played games on the computer.
By now it's an animater and one of the best gamers there is and... a collector of all kinds of consoles and games.
My youngest two finally show interest in gaming too.
Minecraft is still interesting and good for hours of building whatever it is they build.
They show it to me and like a good mom I have a look at it.
The bus-kid has its own account (it was a present), the youngest can use the animator's account (we just asked for permission it's a very old one it had to be migrated to the new system first). For both accounts are paid once and it's a pity it's no longer used.
Personally, I go for the free and mainly mind games.
Games are easily forgotten for something new.
